Ben Duckett has helped England recover after early losses as they are chasing 222 to beat India in the quarter-final of the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2014 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. England had lost three early wickets and since then Duckett has taken a hold of proceedings. In 24 overs, England are 110 for three.

The most impressive aspect of Duckett’s innings has been the way he has played the Indian spinners. Duckett has used his feet and has fearlessly reverse-swept across the line. That attacking approach has worked wonders for him as England look on course to the target. Ed Barnard has held one end.

England had started off cautiously and eventually lost their way with the pacers bagging a wicket each, They were further pushed to the wall when Deepak Hooda dismissed Jonathan Tattersall in his first over. Since then both Duckett and Barnard have played well.
