Deepak Hooda and Sarfaraz Khan are trying to help India set a good total for England in the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2014 quarter-final at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai. India were in tatters at 26 for four, but then an 87-run partnership between Hooda and skipper Vijay Zol helped them recover and cross 100. Hooda completed his fifty and along with Sarfaraz is trying to capitalise in the batting powerplay.
Hooda was run-out for 68. It was Hooda’s innings that helped India recover from the dire straits of 26 for four. In the 40th over, Sarfaraz dabbed one to mid-wicket and Hooda sprinted towards the striker’s end. Jack Tattersall ran in, picked the ball and hurled it onto the stumps. All eyes are now on Sarfaraz if India are to get a good score.

Zol was dismissed off Robert Sayers’ s bowling and since then Sarfaraz and Hooda tried to take the attack to England. Hooda was been more expansive in his strokeplay now, although there was a dropped chance.
With a little over ten overs to go, India will eye the 210-220 mark.
