Jonathan Tattersall and Harry Finch have been watchful early on. However, Tattersall has put the bad balls away to ensure that his side maintain a good run-rate. Chama Milind and Monu Kumar have tried to keep the pressure going by bowling tight channels. However, Milind has conceded a few boundaries.

India's 221 was set up by a fighting half-century from Deepak Hooda and a late surge by Sarfaraz Khan who scored an unbeaten 52.
