In the on going TV Channel event ‘Salaam Cricket’ former India skipper Sourav Ganguly and former Pakistan skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq were asked about the much hyped India and Pakistan match supposedly scheduled for March 19 in ICC World Twenty20 (T20) 2016 at Dharamsala which is under scrutiny as Pakistan are fearing of the security measures provided by India. Inzamam was asked about his opinion of India vs Pakistan match to be played in Dharamsala which former cricketer Imran Khan felt Pakistan should not play the match. He feels India and Pakistan should definitely play the match as that will bring down the bitterness between the countries. LIVE UPDATE: Aaj Tak’s ‘Salaam Cricket’ event
He also mentioned India as a team has come out stronger as to what they were in the 90’s when India vs Pakistan matches were played. Inzamam also felt India team could beat Pakistan in the 90’s because of Ganguly’s captaincy and now he feels MS Dhoni and the aggressive players of team India are the reasons India continues to be dominant over Pakistan. Though he feels Pakistan does have the potential to portray themselves as a stronger team and lead the side from front. He also went on to mention India’s lower order is stronger as they have the players who can finish the match.
