Light drizzle stopped play in the last session on Day Three of the second Test between India and South Africa at Durban. South Africa are on 299 for five still trailing by 35 runs. Jacques Kallis is unbeaten on 78.

The umpires were keenly observing the fading light but since MS Dhoni agreed to use the slower bowlers the play continued. He managed to sneak in a wicket when Ravindra Jadeja dismissed JP Duminy for 28. Duminy was out leg-before. Anticipating that play could be hampered due to rain or bad light, South Africa sent Dale Steyn ahead of Faf du Plessis. However, slight drizzle forced the umpires to call the players back.

Kallis is looking solid on 78 and looks well on course for becoming the fourth South African to score a ton in his last Test.
