Pacer Dhawal Kulkarni has replaced Mohammed Shami for the first three One-Day Internationals (ODI) of the series against Sri Lanka. The decision to include Dhawal was taken on Monday. His inclusion was announced by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on its official Twitter handle. Shami was India’s most successful bowler in the recently-concluded ODI series against West Indies.

 

India and Sri Lanka will play the five-match ODI series from November 2-16. Cuttack, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Ranchi are the venues for the five ODIs.

India’s squad for first three ODIs:

Virat Kohli(c), Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu, Wriddhiman Saha(wk), Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Dhawal Kulkarni, Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Amit Mishra, Murali Vijay, Varun Aaron, Akshar Patel, Mohit Sharma.
