India vs Sri Lanka 6th tri-series match delayed due to rain

India reached 119 for three against Sri Lanka after being put into bat as rain stopped proceedings in the sixth and final round robin encounter of the Caribbean tri-series in Trinidad on Tuesday.

Heavens opened up at the end of the 29th over with opener Rohit Sharma (48 off 83 balls) and Suresh Raina (four off seven balls) at the crease.

Shikhar Dhawan (15), captain Virat Kohli (31) and Dinesh Karthik (12) were back in the pavilion. Left-arm spinner Rangana Herath got two wickets while Sri Lankan captain Angelo Mathews got a wicket.

A victory will send India into the final. Sri Lanka are comfortable as they have more or less confirmed their berth in the final. Meanwhile, is Sri Lanka win then West Indies would qualify for the final on July 11.
