India were 15 for for one after four overs in their ICC World T20 2014 final against Sri Lanka at the Sher-e Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Sunday. Rohit Sharma was batting on four, accompanied by Virat Kohli on eight.
India were jolted early in the innings as Ajinkya Rahane was cleaned up by Angelo Mathews in the second over of the match. Rahane tried to hit on the midwicket area but got an inside edge and the ball took an inside edge and crashed into the wickets. This is India’s second T20 World Cup final. Sri Lanka are playing in their third T20 World Cup final.
The toss for the ICC World ICC World T20 2014 final between India and Sri Lanka at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Sunday was delayed due to rain. The toss was delayed by Sri Lanka captain Lasith Malinga, who elected to field.
Sri Lanka made one change in their side, bringing in Thisara Perera in place of Seekugge Prasanna. India, on the other hand, retained their playing eleven.
