Rohit Sharma was out leg-before for 177 off Veerasammy Permaul. Rohit was on the verge of a highest individual score by an Indian on Test debut India are on 436 for seven on Day Three in the first Test against West Indies. Rohit hit 23 boundaries and a six in his 301-ball innings.

The ball pitched in line of off-stump, turned away from the right-hander and hit Rohit on the pads. Umpire Richard Kettleborough adjudged it leg-before. Replays showed that the point of impact was slightly outside the off-stump

Rohit waited for long after the decision and was visibly disappointed. He shared a 280-run seventh wicket partnership with Ravichandran Ashwin.
