After the first ODI was washed out bearing no result, India took a dominant 2-0 lead after three matches. They also registered record number of 300-plus ODI scores. However, the inexperienced West Indies pulled off a terrific comeback, defeating the favourites by 11 runs in the fourth ODI which kept the series alive till the last match. At this point, after defending a low total such as 189, the hosts will be immensely confident and look to end the series in a draw. India, on the other hand, will be a very strong side to defeat.
