West Indies manage to put up some fight as they go to lunch at 215 for 5 on Day 5 of the second Test at Kingston. They still trail India by 89 runs. West Indies have managed to score 167 runs in the first session for the loss of just one wicket. Jermaine Blackwood and Roston Chase started things off for West Indies on the final day. Blackwood was looking in good touch, just like he was in the first innings, where he got a run-a-ball 62. He got to his fifty off just 41 deliveries. Just when it looked as though he will convert this into a big one, he pushed at a back of length delivery from Ravichandran Ashwin. The ball took the inside edge and flew to the Cheteshwar Pujara at Short leg, who took a brilliant low catch. FULL CRICKET SCORECARD: India vs West Indies 2016, 2nd Test at Kingston
Chase and Blackwood put on 93 for the fifth wicket, which was a much-needed one as West Indies lost a flurry of wickets on Day 4. Chase then got t his maiden Test fifty after he pounced on a poor delivery from Amit Mishra and dispatched it to the fence. He and Shane Dowrich too have put on a fifty partnership and will look to bat as long as possible in a bid to save the match for their side. West Indies have their bowlers to follow after this pair, but they too are capable of offering resistance, like they have on a couple of occasions in this series so far.
