West Indies cricketer Roston Chase created history on the final day of the second Test against India, which finished in a draw at the Sabina Park in Kingston Oval. The second Test ended in a draw with the West Indies team staging a remarkable fightback against India, forcing a draw on the final day when the possibility of an innings defeat was hovering over them. It was Chase’s maiden Test century that made it possible, as he combined with the Caribbean lower order and kept India at bay. With his century in the second innings and a five-wicket haul in India’s only innings in the Test, Chase was able to become the first West Indies cricketer in 50 years to achieve such a feat.
