Cricketers on Sunday congratulated wrestler Sushil Kumar, who won silver medal in the London Olympics 2012 on Twitter.
India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni was the first one to wish the silver medalist. He tweeted, “There is always next time.Sushil ur still our champion.”
Manoj Tiwary tweeted, “Hard luck sushil kumar .. V r still proud of u d way u hav fought all through ur matches .. Ur a champion !!!”
Former Test player Aakash Chopra also wished the 2008 bronze medalist. He tweeted, “Every cloud has a Silver lining 🙂 🙂 well done, Sushil Kumar.”
Pacer Ashok Dinda tweeted, “Another medal. Number 6 for India. Congrats Sushil Kumar for Silver medal. And a big thanks for making us proud. You Beauty..!”
Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar also tweeted, “Sushil has done us proud by winning India its second silver medal. We are proud of his dedication, commitment and effort. Well done Sushil!!”
Pacer Zaheer Khan tweeted, “Well done #SushilKumar on winning silver medal in #Olympics2012.”
Sushil won silver after losing the final match to Japan’s Tatsuhiro Yonemitsu in the freestyle 66 kgs event.
