India have announced their squad for the upcoming Tri series against host Australia and England. The selectors met in Mumbai on Tuesday to pick the 15-member squad for the Wotrld Cup and the 17-memeber squad for the Tri-series, starting from January 16.
Skipper MS Dhoni, who recently retired from Test cricket, will continue to lead the side in both the tournaments with Virat Kohli has been appointed as his deputy. The likes of Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Suresh Raina, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami were selected in both the squads. Only Dhawal Kulkarni, Mohit Sharma have been added as back up bowlers for the tri-series.
