Samit Dravid
Samit Dravid, who was just called up for the first time by India for the multi-format home series against Australia, will not be playing for the Boys in Blue in 2026 when they compete in the ICC Men’s U19 World Cup. In 2026, Samit won’t be able to participate in the ICC Men’s U19 World Cup.
Samit, one of the two sons of former India captain Rahul Dravid, will turn 21 on the day the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announces the team for the ICC Men’s U19 World Cup 2026. Samit is now 18 years and 297 days old.
Samit will therefore be unable to follow in his father’s footsteps and compete in the prestigious U19 event. Because the ICC did not host an U19 World Cup between 1988 and 1998, Rahul was also unable to participate in one throughout his playing career.
