Ajinkya Rahane became the 20th Indian to find his name on the Lord’s Honours board with a century against England on July 17, 2014. On a lush green top, Rahane fought his way against the England pace attack to score his second Test ton. The last time and Indian scored a century in his first appearance at Lord’s was Sourav Ganguly with 131 on his Test debut. The last Indian on the Lord’s Honours board was Praveen Kumar who had bagged a five-for in the 2011 series when India lost 0-4. After Rahane, came Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s moment to enter the Lord’s Honours board with a six-wicket haul. On July 21, 2014, Ishant stormed in to the Honours board running through the England batting with figures of seven for 74.
