Cricket Australia XI (CA XI) were bundled out for a modest total of 219 in the game played against Indians at Adelaide on Monday. Batting first, Cricket Australia had a sour start to their innings as Matthew Short was dismissed only in the first over of the match. Short was dismissed on the first ball he faced from Bhuvaneshwar Kumar.

Opener, Ryan Carter finished as the highest scorer for CA XI as he scored a fifty but was later dismissed by Ravichandran Ashwin. The middle-order failed to provide any resistance as wickets fell quickly. But the tailenders helped CA XI to a score past 200.

Varun Aaron was the most successful bowler for the Indians as he picked three wickets while Karn Sharma, Mohammed Shami and Bhuvanweshwar Kumar ended with the two wickets each.
