James Hopes a boundary to help Delhi Daredevils beat Pune Warriors India by three wickets.

 

Yuvraj Singh had Venugopal Rao caught at the deep-mid-wicket after the right-handed batsman hit Pune skipper for a sis and a four in successive deliveries. Delhi require 8 off 6 balls.

 

Yuvraj Singh bowled a tight 17th over by giving seven runs but Aaron Flinch clobbered Wagh for 20 runs in the 18th over to close down the target to 167 for 5. Delhi require 21n off 12 balls  

 

Yuvraj Singh picked two wickets in successive balls sending back Irfan Pathan for 14 and Naman Ojha for 11. Delhi are 116 for 4 at the end of 13th over after Pune put Delhi on the back foot by claiming wickets of David Warner and Virender Sehwag to leave Delhi Daredevils at 98 for 2 in 10 overs. Warner was run-out for 46 while Sehwag was bowIed by Ryder for 37. Naman Ojha and Irfan Pathan are at the crease.   

 

Earlier, Openers David Warner and Virender Sehwag got the visitors to a blazing start as Delhi Daredevils reached 67 in six overs. Warner scored 43 off 26 balls which included six boundaries and two sixes. Skipper Virender Sehwag completed 1000 IPL runs when he reached 17.

 

Warner started the chase with a pull off Alfonso Thomas to the fence. Then he hit 12 runs off Wayne Parnell dispatching the South African for three boundaries. The left-hander continued his assault smashing Alfonso Thomas for 17 runs.

 

Earlier, skipper Yuvraj Singh and opener Jesse Ryder smashed an aggressive half-century to help Pune Warriors India set a target of 188 runs to win for Delhi Daredevils, after Sehwag had won the toss and put Pune in to bat.
