Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) need 125 to win against Kings XI Punjab in in their Indian Premier League (IPL) match at Mohali on Wednesday.
Kolkata bowlers put on a disciplined effort to restrict Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) for a modest score of 124.
Earlier, Punjab captain Adam Gilchrist won the toss and elected to bat against Kolkata first at the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) Stadium.
Brett Lee struck first for the Knights when he dismissed Paul Valthaty in the fourth over of the match.
