Pune Warriors were today penalised for a slow over rate during their Indian Premier League match against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens here.
Pune Warriors were assessed to be one over behind the required rate after allowances were taken into consideration at the end of the match.
As this was captain Sourav Ganguly’s second slow over rate offence of this year’s IPL, he was fined USD 40,000, while each of the other 10 members of the playing eleven were fined the lesser of USD 10,000 or 25 per cent of their match fees.
