Kolkata Knight Riders principal owner Shah Rukh Khan was seen shedding his past feelings, as he came over to Sourav Ganguly and hugged his former captain in a nice gesture.
Accompanied by his daughter Suhana, the Bollywood star was seen talking to Ganguly near the dressing room after Pune Warriors India lost the prestige match to Kolkata Knight Riders by seven runs.
But little enmity was seen on the ground.
“Yes, he had come out to the lobby in front of the dressing room. They exchanged plesantaries,” Pune Warriors wicketkeeping coach Deep Dasgupta said at the post-mach media interaction.
Stakes were at an all-time high for Pune Warriors match against the Knight Riders with Ganguly leading the side from the visitors dressing room for the first time at the Eden Gardens.
It was seen as a revenge match for Ganguly who was dumped by the Knight Riders after a bitter association from 2008-10.
After being left unsold at the auctions before the start of fourth season, Ganguly was given a fresh lease of life at the Pune Warriors.
