Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag launched “limited edition Delhi Daredevils branded Gold Coins” made by The Muthoot Group, the sponsors of the Indian Premier League side.
The Muthoot Group, which has been sponsoring Daredevils for the last three years, launched the collection of gold coins to honour the of fans of the Delhi IPL franchise.
Apart from Sehwag, who is also the captain of Daredevils, other dignitaries present on the occasion are M G George Muthoot, chairman of the Muthoot Group, GMR Sports COO Amrit Mathur, chirman of Urban Infrastructure and GMR Sports Kiran Gandhi among others.
“I have nothing new to say as I have been honouring all the sponsors of the team for the last few days. But I am thankful to The Muthoot Group for extending their support and I hope we can give all our sponsors reasons to smile by winning the IPL this year,” Sehwag said on the occasion.
Muthoot Group chairman, George Muthoot announced a gold coin each for all the players and support staff of the Daredevils team if they can win the IPL V, starting April 4 in Chennai. (PTI)
