Rajasthan Royals all-rounder Shane Watson, who hit form with a blazing century, says facing South African speedster Dale Steyn would be an ‘ultimate challenge’ when his side takes on Sunrisers Hyderabad in an IPL match here tomorrow.

“He is the best fast bowler now and surely would be going down as one of the best in the history of the game. It would be ultimate challenge with him speeding with new ball in his hand,” Watson, who scored the first century of this year’s IPL against Chennai Super Kings, said.
“They have a good side but we too have best squad in IPL. We had a similar team in the first IPL but this year the depth is amazing. Whoever comes in performs. Coach Paddy Upton has given amazing environment to the team and the players love to be with each other,” the Aussie said.

Comparing Rahul Dravid and Shane Warne as a captains, the Queenslander said while Warne liked to be in the thick of things, the former goes about his business without taking the centrestage.

“They both are different kind of persons. Warne got the team together amazingly quickly in first IPL. He thrived on competition and wanted to be in centre where as Dravid is calm as a person and as captain too. He is humble and most gentle person I have ever met. Nothing can ever get to him. He has steely nerves,” he said.

The Royals bowling failed to defend 185 runs in their last game against Chennai and lost their second consecutive game.

“It was really disappointing not because my century went in vain but more because we lost after posting 185. It is always a big challenge to play in last five overs and very few batsmen can hit from the first ball they are facing and consistently doing it can be a big challenge. I feel Binny, Yagnik and Hodge have done a good job,” he said.
