The Supreme Court will conduct another hearing into the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2013 spot-fixing and betting controversy on Monday. The last time Supreme Court met was on Thursday, November 27, and it had come down hard on the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and its president-in-exile N Srinivasan, who is currently the International Cricket Council (ICC) chairman.

The Supreme Court’s observations were quite a blow to Srinivasan as they said that Chennai Super Kings should be expelled from the IPL. The Apex Court also asked for more details on the ownership details of India Cements, the company that owns the Chennai Super Kings. On Monday, the Supreme Court will meet for the fourth time in one week to take the case forward.
