IPL 2015: Rajasthan Royals sign Kalasalingam University as associate sponsor

Kalasalingam University near here has signed an agreement for being an associate sponsor of the Rajasthan Royals.

Srivilliputhur: Kalasalingam University near here has signed an agreement for being an associate sponsor of the Rajasthan Royals team in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 cricket tournament.

The university would be associate sponsor for the matches to be held in Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai, its Chancellor K Sridharan told reporters. It also planned to organise Kalasalingam Premier League cricket to promote sports along with academic activities, he added.

A total of 18 teams, including members of its alumni and ten school teams, would compete in the league.
