Indian speedstar Mohit Sharma has been sold to the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the 2016 Indian Premier League (IPL) Auction in Bengaluru on Saturday. Mohit was sensational in 2015 during the tour of Australia, and also played a crucial role in the pusuit of the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup, Down Under. His brilliant bowling has grabbed many eyeballs, as he manages to grab Rs. 6.5 crores from the KXIP. The 2016 IPL Auction is underway in Bengaluru on Sunday, as eight of the teams are going head to head to make the best signing of players for their respective teams, who would clash in the 2016 season (season 9) of the 2016 IPL. The season has a couple of surprises as a couple of the oldest franchise in the league in the form of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) have been suspended, leading to the entry of a couple of new teams in the form of Rising Pune Superkings (RPS) and Gujarat Lions (GL).
