India’s uncapped spinner Murugan Ashwin has been sold to the Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) in the 2016 Indian Premier League (IPL) Auction in Bengaluru on Saturday. Murugan, who is from Tamil Nadu is a less known player, but has a great ability to pick up wickets, and being a leg-spinner is a highly impactful player. However, his IPL status would be testd, after fetching a high Rs. 4.5 crores from RPS. Rising Pune Supergiants have 27 crores in place to to acquire rest of the squad and more 22 players can be added to the squad. The team has two international players and rest include cricketer from team India. Rising Pune Supergiants can be expected to be a better team than Chennai Super Kings and come out stronger in this season of IPL.
