Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Rohit Sharma opened up on his batting position and other factors for the upcoming  Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016. As the ninth edition of the IPL is about to commence on April 9, MI held special conference including head coach Ricky Ponting and MI skipper Rohit Sharma at Mumbai. Rohit has not been a regular opener for the side as his side hails of some explosive batsman who prefers to confront the new ball. MI’s strike bowler Lasith Malinga has been the key for their side and has suffered a mistimed injury and on his presence is highly doubtful. MI homeground Wankhede Stadium has been a batting paradise and the bowlers need to ne belligerent in their approach. Rohit said, “Bowlers need to be aggressive to succeed at batsman friendly Wankhede.”

The games will be highly tensed and the pressure will be enormous, the planning has to be right and no teams can afford to lose their way out in the middle. Rohit focused on their plans and said, “It’s all about preparation and execution.”
