With Royal Challengers Bangalore winning their last three matches by big margin, things are falling into place for them in the business end of the group stages. Their bowling has improved and the leg-spinner from RCB, Yuzvendra Chahal stated, “In the beginning of the tournament, our bowling was facing problems but now we have more or less overcome those issues. We have overcome the weak points that we had in our bowling and having (Chris) Jordan and Watson helps us in the death overs, added the leg-spinner who took four wickets against Kings XI Punjab in their last encounter. Virat Kohli credits RCB bowlers following win over KXIP in IPL 2016

He credited his skipper, Virat Kohli, for his four-wicket haul in the win over Kings XI Punjab. “Today since we had a big total, I could go for the wickets and everything fell into place. He (Kohli) told me to play the way I do, to play freely and not hold back, not be afraid of the sixes and that helped. According to The Asian Age, he feels lucky to be a part of Royal Challengers Bangalore as they have one of the best batting line-up in the IPL. “They are in my team. Virat (Kohli), Watson (Shane), Chris (Gayle) and AB, basically the best top-order, the best batsmen of T20 are in my team. It’s a relief. I consider myself lucky that I am in their team”, depicted a joyful Chahal as he is not at the receiving end of these batsmen.

Talking about his skipper, Virat Kohli, who is in terrific form, he said,” He takes his training very seriously. He spends long hours at the gym as well as at the nets. He practices at the center wicket as well practice hitting sixes. After hitting four hundred he is still hungry for more and works very hard”, quoted the leggie showing the temperament of his 27-year-old skipper.

Taking about Kohli’s presence on the field, Chahal signed off by saying, “He is always pumped up and looking at his energy we never feel the game is over. It helps us youngsters a lot”.
