De Villiers missed the initial stages of the tournament due to injury before returning to form with a blistering 89 not out against KXIP at Indore. He has struggled to find form. RCB are out of the tournament, but KXIP have a chance of making it through to the playoffs but will have to win the remaining four matches, including this if they are to make it.
