The 10th edition of the much hyped and most popular; the cash-rich Twenty20 (T20) league Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 is all set to get underway from April 5, 2017. The final schedule of the 2017 season has also been announced as all the eight teams from the previous season would once again compete and fight it out for the coveted title. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) being the defending champions, the final is all slated to be hosted at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on May 21. However, before all the action and excitement gets underway, there is something that needs to be sorted by the teams and franchises.
The 10th edition of the IPL Auction will be held on February 20, 2017 in Bengaluru, as the teams and franchises would have a chance to marginally rearrange their squad before the season gets underway. Although the franchises have retained most of their star players, few of the players have been released by the sides considering the well-being and game-play strategy of the side.
