Delhi Daredevils (DD) will take on Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in Match 15 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 at the Feroz Shah Kotla which is also the first home game for the Zaheer Khan led side. Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI Punjab teams will enter this contest with contrasting results in their last game. KXIP lost against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 8 wickets — their first defeat of the season in 3 games — whereas DD will go with a lot of confidence after thrashing Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) by 97 runs. Delhi Daredevils have had consistency issues over the years and that has marred their fortunes. Delhi Daredevils have some major issues when it comes to batting as the absence of Quinton de Kock and JP Duminy has reduced their batting talent. But with the emergence of players like Rishabh Pant will calm down the waters.
On the other hand, Glenn Maxwell has led KXIP with a fresh approach and having Virender Sehwag has their head coach has induced some batting style changes.
