The match No. 50 in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 will be played between the Gujarat Lions (GL) and Delhi Daredevils (DD) on Wednesday night. The game will be held at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur, a venue which had held India’s first Test of their last season as well as a Twenty20 International. The live cricket streaming of the match will be available on Hotstar. Also, the live telecast of the match will be available on Sony Six and Sony Six HD, while Sony ESPN and Sony ESPN HD will broadcast it in Hindi, Bengali, Tamil and Telugu commentary. This is a battle for the wooden spoon as both Gujarat Lions and Delhi Daredevils have been knocked out of the race for the IPL 2017 playoffs. As of now, Gujarat Lions are ranked at the sixth spot in IPL 10 points table whereas Delhi Daredevils are languishing at the second last spot, above the hapless Royal Challengers Bangalore. On the other hand, Delhi Daredevils have played 11 games, won 4 and have lost 7. Delhi Daredevils too have 8 points, and their NRR is of a poor -0.66. A win tonight will be a consolatory achievement for either teams as both Gujarat Lions and Delhi Daredevils have underperformed in IPL 10.
