Bolstered with the return of Ravindra Jadeja, Gujarat Lions (GL) would want to shrug off their previous losses and look for a victory against Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) in Match 13 of IPL 2017. However, GL will miss the services of Dwayne Bravo who still remains unfit although he was seen practicing on Wednesday. The live cricket streaming of the match will be available on Hotstar. Also, the live telecast of the match will be available on Sony Six and Sony Six HD in English commentary, whereas Sony ESPN and Sony ESPN HD will telecast it in Hindi, Bengali, Tamil and Telugu commentary. Also, SET MAX would telecast it on Hindi commentary. Full Cricket Scorecard, RCB vs MI, Match 12
For RPS, skipper Steven Smith and Manoj Tiwary are back to the camp after missing the previous match. The concern for RPS will be their out-of-form former skipper MS Dhoni. Sourav Ganguly had recently doubted Dhoni’s T20 skills. However, Smith defended his former skipper and feels Dhoni will be bounce back soon. However, their batting-unit would require some attention, as barring Smith, most of the players have not rose to the occasion. As for the bowling, it has been just a one-man show with Imran Tahir shining with the ball while Ashok Dinda, Deepak Chahar and Adam Zampa are yet to fire in this edition.
Gujarat Lions have been facing issues with their bowling unit as well. But with the inclusion of Jadeja, GL’s half of the problems are expected to be solved. As for the batting, Jason Roy and Suresh Raina have been heavily relied upon. However, Roy’s issues with the spinners have put GL in a fix.
The head-to-head record favours GL as they won both the games last season. RPS would look to break the jinx this time around.
