This is Match No. 41 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 and Gautam Gambhir’s Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are all set to face Steven Smith‘s Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS). The match will be played at KKR’s home ground, the iconic Eden Gardens Stadium. The live cricket streaming of the match will be available on Hotstar. Also, the live telecast of the match will be available on Sony Six and Sony Six HD, along with Hindi, Bengali, Tamil and Telugu commentary on Sony ESPN and Sony ESPN HD, while SET MAX will telecast exclusively in Hindi. Though KKR are in a supreme form with both their batsmen and their bowlers performing up to the expectations, their previous fixture ended in a defeat to David Warner’s Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the latter’s home. Gambhir’s army will be keen to bounce back in winning terms. The skipper himself has been among runs in this season. The other batsmen who the team will depend upon are Yusuf Pathan, Robin Uthappa and Manish Pandey, who have been performing consistently. Sunil Narine has been a power-hitter and the bowling consists of Nathan Coulter-Nile, Umesh Yadav and Kuldeep Yadav among others.
RPS skipper Smith has also been scoring runs regularly. Rahul Tripathi has been a find for the team while Ben Stokes scored a stunning century the match before. All-in-all, a close contest can be expected to be on the cards.
