Full Cricket Scorecard, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) vs Sunirsers Hyderabad (SRH), IPL 2017, Match 33 at Mohali
Both teams have had a contrasting tournament so far. KXIP have been marred with inconsistency despite having some of the best attacking players of this format. Hashim Amla is currently in a sublime touch having scored 299 runs at an average of 59.80 so far. Despite their opener being in top-notch, the rest of the batsmen have failed to capitalise on the starts. Moreover, KXIP have suffered majorly due to their bowlers. Sandeep Sharma, Mohit Sharma, Ishant Sharma and Varun Aaron have not been able to mix-up their lengths giving away too many runs in the initial overs of the game.
On the other hand, SRH have begun the IPL 2017 on the same note where they left in IPL 2016 i.e on winning note. David Warner has led his side from the front and has scored 282 runs in the tournament. Moreover, Mosies Henriques too has added depth to their batting and has 193 runs in his kitty.
SRH also have exceptional bowlers at their service and this has been a major reason for their consistency. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Afghan sensation – Rashid Khan, Siddharth Kaul amongst the others have played pivotal roles in helping their team’s campaign.
