RCB were bowled out for a mere 49 in 9.4 overs against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Match No. 27 of the ongoing IPL 2017, which is also the 10th lowest total overall in all T20 cricket. RCB lost the contest by a massive margin of 82 runs, and thus have hit the lowest spot in the IPL 10 Points Table. Chasing a target of 132 to win, RCB were bowled out with more than 10 overs to spare, precisely 62 balls. Among the teams bowled out for lowest total, RCB also faced the least number of overs in their innings. No team, before the clash on April 23 night, were bowled out for less than 10 overs in the history of IPL, but the same cannot be said for overall T20 cricket. RCB’s total of 49 is also the first time any team was bowled out for less than 50.
