In the latest development related to the betting scam of the just-concluded eleventh edition, Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan (Salman Khan's younger brother) has been summoned by Mumbai Thane Police. As of now, details are being awaited but cops have directed the actor to join the probe. In addition, his alleged links with bookie Sonu Jalan are being investigated.

Mumbai cops have accessed pictures that indicate Arbaaz's links with Jalan. Arbaaz's father, legendary screenwriter Salim Khan, interacting with Times Now, revealed that he has no clue who Jalan is. It is believed that Jalan has links with dreaded gangster Dawood Ibrahim, and a chunk of the money generated within the ring was being transported to Karachi. Jalan is said to have a widespread racket with a majority of clients in South Africa.

Jalan had allegedly used advanced software to run the betting racket, including top corporate executives, as per Times Now TV reports. The final verdict regarding Arbaaz's connection with the betting scam is still under wraps, as per Firstpost.
