The Day One of the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction saw many dramatic purchases with Ben Stokes being the most expensive player again as well as T20 specialist Chris Gayle being unsold. Kings XI Punjab owner Preity Zinta was seen taking an active participation in the auction from the start.

The live streaming of the auction will be on hotstar. Whereas, the live telecast of the auction will be on Star Sports 1, Star Sports 1 Hindi, Star Sports 1 Tamil, Star Sports 1 HD, Star Sports 1 Hindi HD and Star Sports First. The auction is scheduled to begin at 9 am.

At the end of the day Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals have the most amount of money left in their wallet that is INR 16 crores. On the other hand Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have the lowest amount of money left with the that is INR 9 crores.

The Day Two of the auctions gets better as there yet players like Eoin Morgan, Evin Lewis, Travis Head, Shaun Marsh, Alex Hales, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ross Taylor, Manoj Tiwary, Anmolpreet Singh, Unmukt Chand, Trent Boult, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Jaydev Unadkat, Shardul Thakur and others who will go under the hammer. The Day Two of the IPL auction will start at 9 am.
