Unadkat reveals RR were ready for a 6 over contest

Rajasthan Royals (RR) defeated the Delhi Daredevils by 10 runs in rain-curtailed match in the Vivo IPL 2018. RR could only bat for 17.5 overs and the game was eventually reduced to six overs with 71 to win for DD. They however, could not get going as they lost the match by 10 runs. Jaydev Unadkat and Ben Luaghlin bowled two overs each conceding 44 runs in four overs but most importantly taking three wickets. Unadkat picked up the wicket of dangerous looking Rishabh Pant on 20.

In the post match Unadkat revealed that RR were ready for a 6 over match. He also spoke about how the batting side has the advantage when the overs are reduced.

RR are the first team this season who won the game batting first. This was Delhi’s second consecutive defeat in the league so far and Rajasthan’s seventh consecutive win against Delhi overall. With the win RR climbed up to the fifth spot in the points table.
