Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore slumped to a fourth straight defeat in IPL 2019, the latest at the hands of hosts Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur on Tuesday.

RCB made 158/4 in 20 overs and failed to defend that, losing by seven wickets even though the game was taken into the final over.

Shreyas Gopal set up Rajasthan’s win with the wickets of Kohli, AB de Villiers and Shimron Hetmyer.

Rajasthan, led by Ajinkya Rahane, had lost three games in a row before this – to Kings XI Punjab by 14 runs, Sunrisers Hyderabad by five wickets and Chennai Super Kings by eight runs.
