Rajat Patidar mentioned at the toss that he feels that it’s a good wicket and it won’t change much and hence, the decision to bowl. But, Axar Patel was happy that side would be batting first on this wicket. He felt that the wicket is dry and that will bring their bowlers into play in the second innings.

We will bowl first. The wicket is quite good to bat on and I don’t think it’s going to change too much and we like to chase. It’s our first win at our home and we will try to continue playing good cricket. In every match, we are trying to improve, so we want to keep learning. Bethell has come in place of Salt.
