IPL 2025 RCB vs SRH: SRH won by 42 runs

As they successfully defended their score total, SRH won the match by 42 runs.

Tim David, who was visibly struggling to play with his injured leg, has been dismissed- caught out by Heinrich Klaasen off a delivery by Eshan Malinga. Not good news for RCB as the match is slipping out of their hands. RCB at 186/7 after 18 overs, need 46 to win.

Another shock has been given to RCB lineup as Jitesh Sharma has now also been dismissed- caught by Abhinav Manohar off a delivery by Jaydev Unadkat. RCB at 179/6 after 17 overs, need 53 to win.

Another shock has been given to RCB lineup as Rajat Patidar and Romario Shepherd got dismissed by Eshan Malinga. RCB 174/5 after 16 overs, need 58 to win.

We have shown some good signs in the last few games. We are building our team for the next season. We need to play more consistently. We need to be at our best. Last game we chased down 200 comfortably. I have been bowling with Shami and preparing for upcoming Test cricket. We would have bowled, not sure how it will play. We have three changes. Travis Head is back, Abhinav Manohar and Unadkat are back as well..

It’s my first time captaining RCB. I captained PBKS against SRH last year. We are thinking to bowl first, want to take most of the surface from the moisture. We are looking forward to finish the league on top of the table and enter the playoffs. The management has taken care of the players. We have a good atmosphere and culture. We want to win every game and win the cup. Rajat Patidar is the impact player. Mayank comes in for Padikkal.
