New Delhi: English all-rounder Harry Brooks is purchased by the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the mini IPL auction of 2022 for a whopping 13.25 crore. In a long bidding war between the managements of the Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad, it was the Sunrisers who won it and were able to bring Harry Brooks into their team. 13.25 cr.

West Yorkshire-born Harry Cherrington Brook, who made his international cricket debut for the Three Lions in January 2022, has played 20 T20Is and so far has scored 372 runs with one half-century. Brook has also captained the U-19 cricket team of England on a tour to India in 2017. Brook starred for the English side in the Test series against Pakistan, scoring 468 runs in five innings.

Harry Brook was the second player to be sold in the IPL Auction 2022, following New Zealand captain Kane Williamson, who was purchased by the defending champions of the IPL, the Gujarat Lions, for his base price of 2.00 crores.
