Embattled Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President N Srinivasan arrived in Chennai on Friday, returning home after a hectic week which saw pressure mounting on him to quit in the wake of the Indian Premier League (IPL) spot-fixing and betting scandal.
Srinivasan arrived by a Go Air flight from Mumbai around 9.30 pm but declined to respond to questions from the large contingent of mediapersons waiting at the airport.
He landed in Chennai shortly after BCCI Secretary Sanjay Jagdale and Treasurer Ajay Shirke quit from their respective posts in a bid to put pressure on him.
He made a quick exit from the airport and drove away to his home in a car.
