# Chennai’s tally of 36 wins is the most by a team in the IPL (Lost 24 and Tied 1) out of 61 played.
# Bangalore have won 30 and lost 30 out of 60 contested in the IPL.
# Bangalore (175 for four) posted their highest total against Chennai in the IPL, eclipsing the 171 for five at Bangalore on March 23, 2010.
# Chris Gayle holds a record for most runs in the present competition, totalling 519 at an average of 74.14 in ten matches.
# Gayle has most number of sixes (39) in IPL 4.
