European minnows Ireland take on Asian minnows Oman in Match 4 of the Group A Round 1 of the ICC World T20 2016 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamsala on Wednesday. Ireland are definitely one of the most unpredictablke sides in world cricket, having come up with a number of upsets in the major ICC tournaments, and would look to repeat the same, however, they need to get past Oman, who too are in a mission to get into the main round of the tournament and possess the ammunition to cause an upset as well, as Ireland won’t have a cake walk. Ireland, who recently played bilateral T20I series against United Aram Emirates (UAE) and Papua New Guinea (PNG) have had a shaky series as they drew the series against UAE 1-1, while they won the series narrowly against PNG 2-1, and would look to come up with a stellar performance, as they aim to progress into the main round of the tournament. Oman, on the other hand, who have had a shaky past few tournaments as well would aim to come up with an improved performance in the grandest stage.
