Shaiman Anwar followed up his innings of 67 in the last game with another impressive fifty in the 16th match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 between Ireland and UAE at Brisbane. Shaiman came in to bat at No. 6, and had two productive stands first with Khurram Khan and later with Amjad Javed. Shaiman’s 50 came off only 51 balls. Earlier, Swapnil Patil was dismissed by Kevin O’Brien for two  Paul Stirling took the catch as O’Brien took his second wicket. Amjad Ali was out just short of what would have been a skilful half-century. Amjad pulled one from Kevin O’Brien that was caught by Max Sorensen at square leg. Earlier, UAE lost both Andri Raffaelo Berenger and Krishna Karate in quick succession to part-time off-spinner Paul Stirling.
