Ireland have made a solid start of their run chase in their run chase against West Indies in the match five of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 at Nelson. Chasing a target of 305 to win, the Irish opening pair of William Porterfield and Paul Stirling have reached 61 for no loss after ten overs. Earlier a gutsy ton by Lendl Simmons and a free flowing 89 by Darren Sammy rescued West Indies from 87 for five and helped them to put up a competitive 304 for seven in their innings. Porterfield, the Irish skipper won the toss and asked West Indies to bat forty. Ireland have never beaten West Indies so far.
