South Africa’s great all-rounder Jacques Kallis, who is playing his last Test against India at Kingsmead, Durban is believed to be have re-united with his lady love and model girlfriend, Shamone Jardim. In June this year,  both of them had parted ways after a relationship that lasted close to six years. With Kallis bringing down the curtains on his Test career, both of them are looking to settle down and have a happy family life.

Actually, it is reckoned that Kallis didn’t play the International Cricket Council’s (ICC’s) Champions Trophy tournament held in England mainly because of the break down in the relationship.

Kallis had in the past dated former Miss South Africa 2002, Cindy Nell as well. He was also engaged to her, but that relationship didn’t last long. For the last six years though, he has been in a relationship with Shamone.

The close relationship between the two could be seen by Shamone’s quote on Kallis, “Everything about him is so nice. He’s not just a great human being but also the perfect gentleman that any girl would look for. He can make you laugh even during pressure cooker-tense situations. That’s why besides finding him hot, I also find him extremely cool,” she had said earlier”, as reported by Mid-Day.

Shamone has travelled with Kallis for cricket matches and events world over. She visited India, while Kallis played for Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Shamone has even developed a liking for India and once said that she would have a wedding ceremony in the country. “Yes. It will be fun. All of us will be there. I developed a liking for India when I visited some years ago. In my hometown ( Cape Town), I read a lot about Indian values and every time I come here, I have a different map and a different aim. Jacques has been very supportive in all this,” she stated.
